Verónica Domingo Alonso is an artist who redesigns aesthetics from an intimate and personal perspective, using a visual language developed from the drawing knowledge, as a research on the notions of place, space and territory. She carries out a praxis where drawing, engraving and painting acquire absolute value in the creation of a complex and abstract environment, supported by the knowledge of calligraphy and Asian art. Her plastic experimentation is backed by a delicate integration between drawing, painting, engraving, photography and installation.

Her practice inherits and promotes a sense of history through its own self making, exploring new discourses related to the environment, historical memory and social awareness. Her works serve as testimony to concepts such as time, space, memory, palimpsest, and absence.
